Picture
New Zealand's central King Country (based around Taumarunui) is steeped in history. It's a wild mystical and largely unknown region in the central North Island that can offer many exciting experiences, the romance of back country pioneering and a past that is being continually published.

Our mission is to share this unique history by viewing our heritage through the eyes of early photographers and from the words of those who have bravely put pen to paper. . .

Over 150,000 images are carried on file and by scrolling through our photo library samples, there is a good chance of finding a particular event, person or view of the Taumarunui  district dating from 1885 to the present time. Specialising in genealogy research and publishing family history.
